scalper.news tracks sharp short-term price movements in decentralised exchange tokens and publishes a short factual record of each one. It also provides a token risk assessment tool that scores any token against live market and contract data.
A scanner polls DexScreener discovery endpoints and evaluates every token it finds against fixed thresholds. Anything failing a single gate is discarded. These are the current values:

Missing data counts as a failure rather than a pass — a token with no reported market cap is rejected, not assumed to be large. Movements above the upper bound are treated as data artefacts rather than events, because a pool minted minutes ago routinely reports four-figure hourly moves that reflect its first few trades.
Every figure in an article comes from that data. The language model is given the numbers and a structure; it is not permitted to introduce figures of its own.
